Job Description & Requirement
Position: The Lead Chemist will be expected to manage and perform research and development efforts. This work encompasses two main roles; research of material properties aimed at specific product applications and development of manufacturing techniques for the same.

Activities will include: sol-gel polymerization of organic aerogels, modification of properties such as density, porosity, mechanical strength and chemical reactivity. Process optimization work includes: reducing process times and costs, designing and installing process equipment, and coordinating process changes with customer application needs.

This person will both lead and execute in a highly entrepreneurial environment. This opportunity is very good for high job satisfaction and unique for intellectual stimulation!

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of post-graduate experience in an industrial organic chemistry environment. Candidates need to be prepared to take charge of an industrial R&D department.
