Job Description & Requirement
The University of Winnipeg invites applications for one, possibly two, eight-month term positions in the Sociology Department at the rank of Instructor to begin September 1, 2008. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants should have an M.A., experience with Canadian universities, and considerable practice in teaching. Also, the successful candidates must have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching.

Responsibilities of these positions include teaching courses in introductory sociology, qualitative methods, family, and socialization & development. In addition, the ability to teach other courses at the first and second year level is an asset. The successful candidate for this appointment will also be responsible for administrative duties.
