Job Description & Requirement
Hanyang University is located in the center of Seoul, the capital of Korea (one of the biggest and most modern metropolitan cities in Asia). Our School of Architectural Engineering has a long tradition of teaching and research excellence in the area of Architectural engineering in Korea. The School of Architectural engineering at Hanyang University currently has 130 graduate students and 550 undergraduate students enrolled and 21 professors.

Job Position:
The job rank is Post doctor or Contract professor. For Tenure-Track employment, promotion will be based on HYU personnel regulations.

Salary/Benefits:
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with candidates' potentials and experiences. Normally the annual salaries are as follows: Post doctor approximately US$25,000; Contract professor approx. US$30,000; A residence will be provided for up to 3 years for foreign nationals.

Job Description:
School of Architecture and Architectural Engineering welcomes applications for a tenure-track position, rank negotiable. Candidates will be expected to offer a creative and challenging Construction Engineering and Management, Large Scale Project Management, ICT in construction industry (such as information management, including building information modeling issues and issues pertaining to the effective and efficient usage of building information models, information technology applications and computer simulation) education to the students in Hanyang Univ. Also considered to conduct vigorous research activities, and pursue publication in international journals. The school is seeking individuals with expertise and professionalism in Construction Engineering and Management, Large Scale Project Management, ICT in construction encompassing various issues in the latest technology in Architecture. Teaching obligations include the development of undergraduate/graduate courses in his/her expertise and participation in the teaching of concerned undergraduate/graduate courses as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Earned Doctorate
- Demonstrated teaching ability and commitment to promote and sustain an externally funded research program
- Multiple published SCI papers preferred, and demonstrated potential for publication in SCI journals
