Assistant/Associate Professor, Accounting,
School of Business
(Centre for Commerce and Administrative Studies)

The School of Business is seeking a tenure track faculty in Accounting at the Assistant or Associate level. The Assistant/Associate Professor, Accounting will be part of a highly motivated team advancing technological boundaries in undergraduate business education and global delivery of our online Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting major and our Accounting Certificates.

The successful candidate should have completed or be near completion of a doctoral program in accounting, or accounting education dealing with the use of technology in online university accounting programs. Applicants should be able to teach and develop courses in Introductory and Intermediate Financial Accounting, and Accounting Theory, and be able to develop new courses in International Accounting or e-Business Accounting and Auditing Experience teaching in an online environment would be desirable. Possession of a professional accounting designation and the ability to perform well within teams are assets. All educational credentials must be recognized in Canada.

This is an AUFA tenure-track appointment, located in Alberta. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, supplemented by a generous benefits package which includes annual research and study leave.
