| The National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago seeks applicants for a two year post-doctoral scholar with interest in longitudinal data or program evaluation. Scholar will report to Professor Dan Black at the University of Chicago and NORC. We seek scholars with an interest in longitudinal data (especially the NLSY) or program evaluation. Scholars will be expected to work on related projects and develop their own research program. Scholars will also have opportunities for teaching at the Harris School at the University of Chicago.Required ExperienceApplicants must have a Ph.D. in one of the social sciences or statistics at the starting date. Candidates must be citizens (or Permanent Residents) of the United States at the time of application. Applicants can be new entrants to the job market or currently employed scholars.
